I have used Clean Cut Movers for my last three moves over the years, and I have found them to be the most professional, communicative and cost-efficient movers in the city—and I've been apartment hopping in NYC for the last 25+ years. A quote from a competitor for $400+ was $290 at Clean Cut, NO PADDING/LATE ADD ON FEES. The guys are SO quick, every time—in and out. Never using anyone else.

The move out was very smooth as well as the move in. They made sure to wrap up and protect our furnitures and valuables. They handled everything with professional care. The foreman Josh was fantastic at facilitating my move. The company provided a quick and transparent quote, which I was able to obtain via e-mail. Even though I ended up having one or two more boxes on the day of my move than Id anticipated, I was still charged the quoted rate! Everything was moved quickly, safely and effeciently. The price of the move was also $300-$500 less than that of the competition (I obtained quotes from 6 companies in total). Would highly recommend to anybody looking for an affordable and reliable moving company who won't hit you with surprise fees on the date of the move. Definitely earned all 5 stars

Clean Cut Moving is a reliable partner for anybody considering a move. Their fixed fee system is a much better set up than the typical mover (incentives aligned, mover doesn't make more money if they take longer to finish), and it makes the whole process a lot quicker. Josh and the crew were super fast and very careful with delicate items (TVs, coffee table, etc). This is the third time I use Clean Cut and I'll definitely use them again the next time I move. I've used Clean Cut moving twice, once right before Covid and again a month ago. The first time I used them was just okay, communication with the moving team could have been better and one of my bookshelves was slightly damaged in the process. Still, they were quick once they got there and the price was good so I decided to trust them again for my latest move. I don't regret it! My second time with them was even better than my first, the team that moved me (Rene & co) was friendly, communicative, very careful with my furniture, quick and efficient and respected Covid guidelines. They started unloading my stuff before I arrived at the new apartment with my roommate's help so that overall the process was very quick. And the price remains the best I've seen. Booking is easy and David is very responsive to any changes in inventory or even dates. Highly recommend Clean Cut Moving.

Carlos and his crew were excellent. No complaints - they were legit nice and very speedy. Managed to get our long couch up a narrow flight of stairs and tight doorway. I'm not sure whose fault it was and it helped we were doing a very local move, but a large item was also left at our previous apartment, and they went back and got it for us. A couple of our small ikea pieces fell apart while moving (at no fault of the movers either, we should have disassembled better), but they were very diligent and pointed it all out to us as they delivered it. Overall they were honest, straightforward, efficient movers.

They were so hardworking and had the best attitudes, even despite having to continuously move their truck on the street for traffic (felt so bad!). I've worked with David and his movers for my past few moves, and it's always been a great experience! He's very responsive and helpful with setting up your move, and prices are affordable compared to other moving companies. They've moved me in and out of a 5th floor walk up with virtually no hiccups. My mover, Justin, arrived on time, had a great attitude, and treated my things with care during the move out of there. The hardest work was carrying everything up into my new apartment, which is on the 6th floor of a walk-up. David was QUICK to answer any questions, no matter how many, even last minute ones outside business hours. Thanks Clean Cut! They moved us for a great price - one of the cheapest quotes we got. While I was nervous of the quality I'd get by choosing the cheapest option, I ended up happy that I chose them. The movers were polite and friendly, moved our stuff professionally and wrapped the furniture. With COVID they wore masks, which was appreciated. The move was just what i was hoping for - no damage and got my stuff from A to B safely. Hassan and his partner were great! I wouldn't hesitate to use Clean Cut Movers again, I'd just request the COI a couple days early so there's no last minute jumble. We were moving from our apartment in Manhattan to a storage unit in Brooklyn and needed full packing services. David the owner was extremely easy to work with over email booking and leading up to the move. This is a great company and Ted and his crew are amazing. The pick up location was in the Financial District which is a difficult area to maneuver with a truck and even more difficult to park and load. The guys were on time picked up the items which the covered with pads and delivered to Riverdale NY. They carried the three 7x5 bookcases up 4 floors and delivered them without any damage. They were very responsive and capable. The office was also very responsive clear about the pricing and very specific as to what was covered. Called in desperation after previous plans for moving had fallen through (long story), needing a somewhat complicated move done that day (out of one apartment, storage overnight, into another apartment the next morning.) Amazingly, Nora made it work and gave us a reasonable price. Twenty-four hours later, it's all done. Some of that was luck, obviously, but even allowing for that everything was done very well. Highly recommended. My roommate and I are less than semi-strong so using a moving company was paramount. First, the price is so inexpensive (we paid $250, including tip, to move a couch from Brooklyn to Washington Heights). Second, our moving crew was so professional and helpful. They were patient, funny, QUICK, and strong (very important for movers). They even offered to help arrange our couch once they delivered it. I had a great experience with Sam, Josh and Sixo (spelling?)! I choose Clean Cut Movers because they offered by far the lowest price. At first I was skeptical that this might include extra charges once the move was in progress, but there was no problem at all, even though I had a 1-2 more boxes than in the original quote. This company saved the day with their help. I had to move on a Monday afternoon in the middle of a big job transition. Needless to say I was a bit frantic. A good friend of mine recommended getting movers. Initially I was hesitant to utilize such a service and wasn't sure if it would be worth the price. I ended up taking the plunge and had very smooth process scheduling my appointment. If I could describe the whole experience in one word from start to finish it would be: Efficient. The day of, Jonathon gave me a heads up well in advance to their arrival (1 hr) which I appreciated. Once they arrived, he and his partner (I believe his name was Chris) got straight too work. They packed my belongings and got them to my new place, then unloaded them in what I would consider 'record time'. I could not believe how fast they moved and how experienced they were with moving things quickly but also with care and safety. Today we moved from our house in New Jersey into an apartment on the East Side of Manhattan, with the help of Clean Cut Movers. They were excellent. Ziggy and Travis texted us when they were nearby, and then arrived about 10 minutes early. They were friendly and professional, and got to work packing, wrapping and moving after a quick briefing of what was what. On the NYC side of things, they arrived a few minutes before the scheduled elevator window and were allowed to start early. They had everything inside our apartment, assembled and unpacked, in an hour. This could have been a stressful move for my wife and me, as we are downsizing due to having an 'empty nest'. The guys from Clean Cut couldn't have made our move go any smoother. We would definitely use them again.

Logged onto Yelp and requested a quote, within hours I received call and quote emailed to me. Follow up call as well to confirm. Excellent. Confirmed with staff the details and paid deposit. THEIR PRICING IS VERY GOOD, many companies such as Man with A van is OUTRAGEOUS and surged during end of month (noted within their pricing email to me) The staff were in touch with me one hour prior to moving out and called once again upon arrival. I just had a one bedroom doorman / elevator building to one bedroom doorman / elevator building move yesterday with these guys, and overall was very happy with how things turned out. Really nice movers (Gary and O'Neal) who were careful with my stuff. The price point was extremely competitive - there are definitely cheaper options but this company has a strong rep and great reviews by other users and overall they lived up to it. Compared to Flat Rate, this was a much cheaper option (almost 50% lower than the quote I received from Flat Rate for the same move) and everything went smoothly. I contacted a dozen of companies ahead of my moving. Clean Cut Moving was the cheapest and they could do it on a short notice. Communication by email was very good ahead of the moving. They sent three men (the leader was named Jonatan) and a large van. The guys were super friendly and they did it! It was a complicated moving (small elevator at the pick up location, etc.) but they did a very good job. I would definitely use this company again.

I've moved with Clean Cut three times now: once from Stamford, CT to the East Village, then from the East Village to Brooklyn, and then again in Brooklyn this past week. First two moves were with Ziggy and most recently moved with Jonathan, Chris, and one other guy whose name I can't remember. Sorry, man. Anyway, they've always been great to me. I chronically underestimate how much stuff I have so I usually end up with an extra charge, but I also tip well. Never had a problem. These guys moved me up to my third-floor walkup in 95° heat like machines. Nothing was damaged, fragile items and furniture were delicately taken care of. Wasn't an easy move, either: lots of furniture, tons of moving bins (which you really should use, cardboard boxes are so 2007). Really happy with them.

Boy Oh Boy, What a great crew we had. Ziggy. Ziggy and his crew communicated that they were running a bit late. Then when they arrived we saw our street was closed due to paving. Oh my , I lost it. We chose Clean Cut based on both price and speed/helpfulness of communication. We ended up having more boxes than we thought. We also needed to add an additional location (storage facility). We communicated this to Alex prior to the move who adjusted our quote accordingly to a higher price we believed was fair. Our movers, Ziggy and James, arrived on time, were extremely efficient, and remained calm and methodical throughout the entire move. Communication is key here. Also, morning times seem to be better. Finally, since we had two locations, we marked everything going to storage with bright red tape to make it clearer, which definitely helped.

I've moved 12 times and this time using Clean Cut Moving made it the best move I've experienced. That morning, they arrived right on time, and it was surprisingly raining -- there was no parking. Jonathan was super calm and understanding while we worked together to find a parking solution. He and his team wrapped all our furniture, bundled all our art, and had us out of our 2 bedroom 4th floor walk-up (with a courtyard garden) in under 3 hours. I had an amazing experience with these movers. One of the movers (Jonathan), did a great job and was very professional. He taped up my mattress and taped up some of my boxes that needed more support. Although I moved only a couple of blocks down the street, I moved to the fourth floor of a walk up and had many heavy boxes. I had a VERY involved move yesterday. Starting UES, then one stop in Murray Hill and a final stop in New Jersey. Not only was the rate EXTREMELY fair, but the team of Jonathan, Sean, & Brandon were absolute all stars. I can't say they showed up on-time because (after calling to check in with me) they showed up BEFORE the elevator was available to do some prep work to make the best use of our time. They came on short notice since my other arrangements bailed on me. These guys didn't waste any time! Fast and organized! I think the entire move took less than two hours and everything was packed and moved with skill and finesse. I was fearful of breaking things during the move and my television was my biggest concern however, there wasn't so much as a single scratch on anything at all. Phenomenal experience! I was able to book a June 30 move (basically the busiest day for moving) about a week in advance. Clean Cut Movers sent helpful email reminders throughout the process and were able to process a certificate of insurance with pretty short notice. The price was also VERY reasonable. For an arrival window of 8-9 am, my driver showed up with two men practically on the dot at 8 am (after a courteous call 30 min prior to let me know when they'd arrive). Donovan and the guys were fantastic: 100% professional, friendly, and courteous. Not to mention, very strong! They handled my stuff in practically no time at all and with no trouble. Even though I was moving from Brooklyn to Manhattan at peak rush hour time, the whole move took less than two hours. Totally painless. Donovan and the guys also were great with building management, who had some specifications. Nobody loves moving, but I will definitely try to work with Clean Cut Movers again.

Alan and O'Neil arrived right on time, loaded up while handling all of my belongings with care, and met me at my new apartment. Unloading also went quickly and after I unpacked I discovered that absolutely nothing had been broken or gone missing. Let's face it. Moving sucks huge nuts. The whole time leading up to it you're like 'might as well say goodbye to this fragile thing because it's gonna break into a million pieces'. I've said that before and it's happened. Not with Clean Cut mover! They're magicians. Kind, diligent magicians. Hands down the best, most low-stress move I've ever been through. Alan and O'Neil moved us from Brooklyn all the way down to Richmond, VA in a single day. They showed up on time, were super nice, professional, and absolutely killed it on both ends of the move. John Furi and his team were excellent. Very polite and diligent. Moved a 1 bedroom apartment across midtown after their previous client extended their prior move. So amazing. These guys offered me by far the lowest quote, tried to help me get away with not paying to tack on any extra fees, and set up a move for the next morning even though I called after hours. I've been in NYC for 10 years now and move almost every year. I never expect anything more than sub-par service from moving companies but this last time was different. The girl who booked my move over the phone was really friendly and was super responsive over email about any items I needed to add/remove from the quote. And on the day of the move, Ziggy & James were THE BEST. They kept me updated on their arrival time (which I appreciated since I scheduled a really early appt). And when they arrived, they moved FAST. I lived in a sixth floor walk-up and they handled it like pros (and with a great sense of humor!). They even arrived at the new apartment before I did. I was stuck on a train between downtown Manhattan and Brooklyn. They waited patiently and were really nice about it. All boxes, furniture, etc. were respectfully handled and intact. I cannot recommend these movers enough! I requested a moving service at 11:30 am and by 5:30pm the movers were at my apartment. It was the same day service. Can't recommend these movers enough--my purse with the keys to my new place inside was stolen, forcing me to cancel the MORNING OF my would-be move. They couldn't have been more accommodating, and fit me in for a move 2 days later. I only lost the $50 initial deposit, which was very generous of them given the last minute cancellation on my end. Nicole in the management office, as well as Mike and the moving crew, were extremely helpful and friendly. The movers arrived a little bit late, so I'd recommend a flexible schedule for moving day itself, but once they arrived the move was ultra fast and efficient. The scheduling process is also extremely efficient--I received a quote within a few hours of my original request, and the instructions and terms were very accessible.

Could not be happier with the move, and very glad I was able to use Clean Cut Movers for assistance! Ziggy and team helped me move this past Saturday from a walkup brownstone building into an elevator building. They arrived on time, and were courteous, professional, and friendly. And just as important - they were careful with my furniture and lightning quick! They had all of my myriad boxes and furniture emptied out in 45 minutes. One wrinkle I did not expect was that the elevator building I moved into required the use of a freight elevator that they had to take to the basement, and then walk down a long hallway to another elevator and up to the floor of my apartment. I thought this would increase the time that it would take for them to move in, but they had me all moved into the new apartment within 45 minutes. I was very nervous about hiring movers upon returning to New York after living in Europe for a couple of year and I went with Clean Cut from a friend's recommendation. After gathering several quotes, Clean Cut was the most reasonable for moving my things from a storage facility in New Jersey to SoHo. I tried to be as specific as possible when describing my items to move in the original quote, but I hadn't been to my storage unit in 2 yrs and forgot some items. I had several small items not in boxes and other larger items that I forgot in the quote, so I was charged a bit more than originally quoted, however, it was still very reasonable and I was told that I may be charged more depending on what I forgot to mention. Given that I had so many small items, Clean Cut was awesome in moving every little thing, right down to a couple of papers that fell out of a box into the storage unit. Nothing was broken and everything was accounted for! They were on time, very professional and moved my stuff in a very short amount of time, which exceeded my expectations. They even asked me where they should place my bed and other items within my new apartment and navigated the tiny streets of SoHo & lack of parking spaces wonderfully. It's unfortunate some people had a bad experience, but this was not the case with me and I highly recommend!!

This was the first time my boyfriend and I hired movers and we had a totally stress-free experience! We had Moses and his team who did our move and boy were they excellent. They got right down to it, moving us out from out 3rd floor walk up in Queens to our 4th floor walk up in Brooklyn in 3 hours. If you ever move in NYC, you probably know how stressful it can be. First, I search for quotes and Clean Cut Movers gave me the best prices. What I like about Alex and Nicole was that they would email me once awhile to stay in touch. Then I was stress out about obtaining liability insurance for moving which was required by both move in and move out buildings. I did have to pay a little but I believe Clean Cut Movers doesn't profit from this and they got that done quickly. On the day on the move, Ziggy texted me telling me that he is on his way. I said hi and they (Ziggy and James) went to work right away. I was worried about my flat screen TV since I didn't wrap it but they had a special padded cloth to glove over it and they wrapped my mattress. I am not a chatter box so I didn't talk to them too much and they didn't seem to mind and just did their work. Really solid moving experience. I've never had movers before, but my wife is pregnant, so there's a first time for everything. We moved from a one bedroom to a two bedroom a couple of blocks away, and were expecting to pay substantially more. The office's estimate was exactly on target. One caveat: be sure to list EVERYTHING you're planning to move in your email exchange with them. The price (and what actually gets moved) is contingent on an exact count of boxes and things. You can always update with the office. Our movers were Allen and O'Neal. Two really nice guys, very careful with our stuff.

I had John Furi and his team come help with my move last weekend and they were very efficient, polite, and just overall a great team to work with. Both of my old and new apartments were 5 floor walk ups which made the move a lot more difficult when it comes to moving the heavier and bigger furnitures. I used CCM this past weekend to move from Harlem to Rego Park. For the service provided, the price is phenomenal. Donovan and his team moved our whole barrage of furniture and goods (which included a GIANT entertainment center and half a dozen boxes of books) down from the fourth floor of a walk up, drove to the new apartment, and had everything unpacked within 4 hours. I had a friend use Clean-Cut Movers back in June for the same move out of a 5th floor walk-up into an elevator building. They were cheap and efficient, so I decided to give them a try. They were the lowest quote I received, so bonus points for that. Other moving companies were asking double or triple that price! I was able to get a somewhat last minute appointment for July 31st/August 1st with overnight storage (again, other companies were unable to provide this), so bonus points there as well. The movers showed up earlier than the 3 hour time window I was given, and got right down to business, working as quickly as possible (they even helped my roommate bring down some of her things for the trash pile). The apartment was cleared in no time, and they even took down my TV mount and wrapped everything carefully--no damage!

The Clean Cut Movers, one of the most surreal experiences I've ever had in my life. HIRE THEM! They scheduled a move for 9pm at night, and they got to my storage about 30 minutes late. I was very nervous about my move but had an excellent experience with Clean Cut Movers. They gave me a very competitive price, absolutely cheap for New York. Two movers came an hour earlier (which I loved), very easy to communicate with via phone and text. I had a ton of stuff to move and they got it out in under an hour. Nothing was broken and my furniture and apartment were in perfect condition. They made a potentially very stressful situation comfortable and easy.

Just used Clean Cut Movers for a second time. Moved from NY to CT. All went extremely well. They are reasonable and the men work very hard. Would use them again without hesitation.

These guys were awesome. Ziggy and James showed up right on time and were amazingly fast. Not only did they get my entire move completed early they were also exceedingly pleasant and friendly. These guys really made moving day calm and nice. I will recommend them to any/all friends looking for movers.
